Description: Stratford Parkway station supported by a number of Sustainable Travel Elements (STE’s)

Detail: The Category F station comprises 2 No 6 Car platforms and DDA compliant ramped and stepped footbridge. The station is supported by waiting shelters, passengers information systems (CIS, PA, Help Point, TVM’s, CTV cameras, lighting and signage. Modal interchange is provided by the existing Park & Ride car park and new forecourt including bus stops and kiss and run parking. The STE’s comprise a dedicated cycle hire scheme, electric vehicle charging points and Station Travel Plan Infrastructure to remove barriers to accessing the site by walking or cycling including dropped-kerbs, signs, pedestrian crossings and additional bus stops.

Support was provided through the GRIP 4 & 5 studies from funding award to mobilisation of the Design & Build Principal Contractor on site.
